VIP’s Construction Team Announces Five Promotions

VIP’s Construction Department is very excited to announce the promotions of five team members! These advancements allow VIP to continue delivering responsiveness, innovation, and quality service, which has been the VIP hallmark for over four decades.

Bill Cadieux and Mike Ryan have both been promoted to Senior Superintendents which is a newly-created position at VIP! The position of Senior Superintendent recognizes the highest level of skill, expertise, and leadership in superintendents. Senior Superintendents succeed on VIP’s largest and most complex projects. They create and maintain positive, productive relationships with Project Managers, other office staff, and field staff. They develop strong relationships with design professionals and are consistently excellent with clients. They exhibit skill reviewing and adhering to design details on their projects and have great foresight and problem solving skills. They confidently and effectively manage subcontractors and project schedules and run organized and safe job sites. Both Bill and Mike will serve as role models and mentors for other superintendents and will play crucial roles in the success of our projects and company.

Dennis Crowell has been promoted to the Service and Special Projects Department Manager. In addition to managing our warranty and service work, Dennis runs the Special Projects division. He is a major driver of business development and maintains excellent client relations. He is responsible for cost estimating, proposal writing, overall departmental scheduling and the management of all aspects of projects. 

Mac Romal has been promoted to Project Manager. As a Project Manager, Mac oversees budgeting, scheduling, safety, contract management, and financial performance on projects, with the authority and responsibility to direct, control, and monitor all activities. He develops and maintains strong relationships with subcontractors, team members, and our clients and also exhibits initiative in business development efforts.

Graham Daniel-King was promoted to Self-Perform Project Manager. In this role he will be responsible for the project management aspects of the work performed by VIP’s Steel (Pre-Engineered Metal Buildings), Concrete, and Carpentry crews. This includes developing estimates and managing budgets, scheduling, planning, coordination and safety.
