Welcoming Three New Team Members
Koree Reed joins VIP’s Property Management team as Leasing Agent. In his role, Koree will over see the leasing and day-to-day management of VIP’s residential portfolio. That includes 86 units at Pike Block, 34 units at One Webster’s Landing, and 72 units at The Post which will be for lease starting spring 2026. Koree is a graduate of Hartwick College and brings seven years in customer service, sales, and property management. Denis Krokhmal joins IPD Engineering as an Electrical Design Engineer. Denis brings experience in MEP consulting, supporting commercial, higher education, and restaurant projects. He has expertise in electrical design, including lighting, power distribution, and fire alarm systems, with proficiency in Revit. Denis is EIT certified and an alum of the University of Washington. We’re excited to have Denis on board!
Tom Buswell joins IPD Engineering as a Project Manager and HVAC Engineer. Most recently, Tom worked at Carrier, where he supported global product development, training, and large-scale commercial HVAC projects across North America. He is recognized for translating complex ideas into practical, high-impact solutions and for mentoring teams across technical disciplines. Tom also holds two US patents and is a certified High Performance Driving Instructor at Porche.
Celebrating Well-Deserved Promotions
Michelle Caggiano has been promoted to Director of IT. Over the past five years, Michelle has been a valued member of our IT team, most recently serving as Systems Administrato. During that time, Michelle has played a key role in supporting our technology infrastructure, solving complex challenges, and helping keep our teams connected and running smoothly. In this new role, Michelle with lead our IT strategy and operations, continuing to strengthen and evolve our systems and support the growth of VIP.
We’re pleased to share that Denis Virginia has eben promoted to Lead Carpenter! Over the past two years, Dennis has been a dedicated and dependable member of our team, consistently demonstrating strong craftsmanship and a commitment to getting the job done right. Beyond his technical skills, Dennis has been a go-to resource in teh field, willing to share his knowledge and step in as a mentor to others. In this new role as Lead Carpenter, Dennis will continue to guide and support the team while helping drive quality, efficiency, and excellence on our projects.

Tyler Smith Completes Dale Carnegie Training
Congratulations to VIP Steel Team member, Tyler Smith (right), for successfully completing the Dale Carnegie Skills for Success Course this past March. The nationally recognized program enhances confidence and leadership abilities across its participants” personal and professional development, applicable to various functions and industries. Tyler was honored with the peer award for “Crashing Through,” recognizing his exceptional strength and flexibility in clear communication.
VIP Supports the Chartering of new CNY Chapter of the National Association of Women in Construction
VIP is proud to support the chartering of the Central New York chapter of the National Association of Women in Construction, reinforcing our commitment to fostering a more inclusive and connected industry. We are especially excited to see our own Cynthia Hernandez, PHR, serving on the chapter’s Board of Directors, where she plays an active role in helping to build a network that supports, connects, and elevates women across the construction field.

VIP welcomed Syracuse STEAM School’s Construction Management students for a hands-on look at how projects move from concept to construction. Our architecture, engineering, and construction teams shared how collaboration across disciplines drives smart planning, coordination, and successful outcomes. Connecting classroom learning with real-world experience and supporting the next generation of builders and problem-solvers.
