Syracuse, NY, August 24, 2022 – VIP Structures, a member of the Syracuse community for over 45 years, recently expanded with 14 new hires. These additions allow VIP to continue delivering responsiveness, innovation, and quality service, which has been the VIP hallmark for over four decades.

VIP’s growing construction division welcomes Aaron Devereaux, Construction Project Manager. He brings 7 years of experience as an Assistant Project Manager and Estimator and previously worked with clients such as Colgate University, Byrne Dairy, and Turning Stone Resort and Casino. Aaron received his bachelor’s degree in Construction Management from SUNY ESF magna cum laude and his Associates Degree in Architectural Studies and Design from SUNY Morrisville. Outside of work Aaron enjoys woodworking, hiking, and working on his home in Camillus. 

Mac Romal, Assistant Construction Project Manager, comes to VIP from a national contracting company based in Baltimore, MD. Mac has held numerous field positions and worked on multiple large and complex projects, such as a data center, a wastewater treatment plant, and a food processing plant. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering from Clarkson University, concentrating on construction engineering management. Outside of work, he enjoys golf, hockey, and hiking and aims to get all the ADK 46 high peaks done in the next five years!

Also joining VIP’s construction division is:

• Bill Enright, Construction Superintendent, who brings 32 years of construction industry experience, and 20 years as a superintendent, with a strong specialty in healthcare and medical offices. 

• Josh Iliffe, Field Supervisor/ Carpentry Foreman, brings over ten years of experience in commercial construction.
• Jamie Cunningham, Concrete Field Technician, has been in construction for 33 years with 20 years of framing and remodeling work.
• Tyler Smith, Field Technician, comes with five years of experience in construction.
• Brandon Ackley, Field Technician, brings four years of construction experience.
• Joanne Getman, Project Controls Manager, brings three years as contract administrator to the team.
• Kenna Maring, Project Technician, applies her experience from her VIP internship with the construction department into her new role with the company.

VIP Architectural Associates is excited to announce that Rob Shutts has joined the team as the Architectural Operations Manager. Rob will support the strategic growth of VIP Architectural Associates and will contribute to the achievement of our company goals. His role will also include identifying new business development opportunities. Rob has 19 years of combined experience in the management of Architectural and Construction projects throughout Central NY and across the US.  Rob holds a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Syracuse University, is a registered Architect and a certified Code Enforcement official.

Other key new Architectural hires include Stephen Bart, Architectural Designer, who brings five years of design experience (and ten years as a snowboard instructor), and Jason Nisiewicz, Architectural Designer, who rejoins the VIP team and continues his seven-year tenure at the firm. Monisha Arnold also joined the team this August as an architectural designer, after recently receiving her master’s degree from Syracuse University. Monisha brings 14 years’ experience in the field of architecture from conceptualizing designs, client presentations, design development, construction drawing and consultant coordination.

A vital member of the enterprise-wide IT department is Michelle Caggiano, who returns to VIP Structures, expands the company’s IT Support Group, and helps keep VIP at the leading edge of technology implementation.
