VIP Structures’ work on the Feldmeier Equipment Manufacturing and Warehouse project earned a Manufacturing Category Win in the 2026 Varco Pruden Hall of Fame Awards. As design-build partner, VIP provided architecture, engineering, and construction services, supporting increased production capacity while maintaining ongoing operations.
Presented annually by Varco Pruden Buildings—a division of BlueScope Buildings North America—the Hall of Fame Awards highlight outstanding projects that utilize pre-engineered metal building systems.
VIP partnered with Feldmeier Equipment to deliver an 82,500 SF expansion of its in Syracuse, New York headquarters, supporting increased production capacity and long-term growth. The project includes a 72,500 SF manufacturing addition and a 10,000 SF warehouse, seamlessly integrated with the existing facility originally designed and built by VIP in 2017.
From the outset, the original facility and site were designed to support future expansion – a vision realized through this latest project. The addition required complex structural tie-ins across a 600-foot span, along with the integration of multiple overhead crane systems with strict tolerance requirements. Despite the complexity of tying into an active manufacturing operation, VIP completed the project efficiently while maintaining ongoing operations.
This recognition builds on VIP’s longstanding partnership with Feldmeier Equipment and marks the second time a VIP–Feldmeier project has been recognized by Varco Pruden’s Hall of Fame Awards program, reflecting a continued focus on aligning facility design with long-term operational growth.
By expanding in Syracuse, Feldmeier reinforced its commitment to Central New York, adding jobs and strengthening the region’s manufacturing sector.
