Our Newest Team Members & Well-Deserved Promotions
Cassandra Cherebin joins as VIP as an A&E Senior Accounting Specialist. She brings several years of experience in financial reporting, property accounting, and client relationship management. A graduate of SUNY Oswego, Cassandra brings a strong analytical background and collaborative approach to the team.
Blu Edwards joins VIP’s steel crew as a working foreman. Blu brings years of hands-on experience with pre-engineered metal buildings across Canada and the US. He has worked with leading building manufacturers. With his crew leadership, material coordination, and safety expertise, Blu is a strong addition to the team.
Michael Sciroppo joined our Engineering team as a Senior Electrical Engineer for Mission Critical Operations. Mike brings more than a decade of experience in electrical engineering and project management, with a strong record of success in contract negotiation. Based in the New York Metro area, Mike services critical operations clients across the northeast in industries such as utilities & telecom, data centers, and healthcare.
Matt Szczepanski has been promoted to Assistant Project Manager. He brings a calm, professional demeanor and exceptional construction expertise. Clients and teammates value his detail-oriented approach and reliable follow-through. Matt has contributed to key projects, including Feldmeier Equipment’s recent expansion. After just over a year with VIP, this promotion recognizes his hard work, growth, and commitment to excellence.

VIP Holds Second Annual Day of Purpose
In September, VIP hosted its second annual Day of Purpose, a company-wide initiative dedicated to giving back to the Central New York community. Over 50 employees volunteered at local organizations including the Samaritan Center, CNY Diaper Bank, and the CNY SPCA.
VP of Client and Investor Relations, Mike Durkin, and Director of Project Management, Jim Dalpe joined the New York State of Opportunity booth at SEMICON West, connecting with partners and industry leaders shaping what’s next for semiconductor manufacturing across our region.

Employee Achievements: Celebrating Three Engineering Certifications
Mechanical Designer, Ryan Rienhardt earned his Certified HVAC Designer (CHD) certification from ASHRAE.
Emilio Vernon, a Plumbing Designer, obtained his Plumbing Designer Technician certification (CPDT) from the American Society of Plumbing Engineering (ASPE).
Megan Romeo, a Mechanical Designer, received her ASSE 660 Certification for Medical Gas Systems Designers!
