ChaseDesign, a design firm founded in 1958, wanted to expand its office space and move from its Skaneateles locale to downtown Syracuse. Following a broad search, ChaseDesign selected VIP’s “The Post” building as its new home.

VIP provided construction management services for ChaseDesign’s transformational project, with our Construction Project Managers and Superintendents working heavily during pre-con to review the unique concepts and intricate drawings, work through challenges, and ensure the client’s vision could be built. VIP was also instrumental in coordinating the many specialty consultants.

ChaseDesign, VIP, and other specialty designers worked together to design and build the new space. VIP’s hands-on involvement during design and construction helped ChaseDesign accomplish its physical and aesthetic goals and create its new “LAB.” The LAB is full of natural light and energized by bright colors, communal areas, and architectural features that add interest and support impromptu collaborations. Over 80 talented ChaseDesign team members call The Post their new home.

VIP’s relationship with ChaseDesign began in 2006 when they became a tenant in one of VIP’s buildings in Skaneateles. Facing spatial challenges due to changing team sizes, they made the difficult decision to relocate to a more urban setting with a single space that could accommodate the entire company.
