Katherine Nutting, Principal & Managing Member of VIP Architectural Associates (VIPAA), was recently appointed to the Syracuse University Architecture Advisory Board. Nutting became Principal of VIPAA in January 2014. She also serves on the VIP Companies Senior Leadership Team.
The Syracuse University School of Architecture Advisory Board exists to support the Dean, faculty and staff in their effort to make the School of Architecture the country’s leading institution for education and research in Architecture. The Board will accomplish this by supporting the Dean and faculty on matters of policy, planning, external relations and new educational initiatives.
Kate is a registered architect in the states of NY, PA, CT, FL, and MD. She is the business manager and supervises day-to-day operations of the architecture division. Nutting is a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA), Women Presidents’ Organization (WPO – Syracuse chapter 1) and the Leadership Greater Syracuse class of 2012. She was recognized as one of the CNY Business Journal’s 40 Under Forty 2014 winners. Kate graduated with her degree in Architecture from Syracuse University.
