VIP was first retained by Southern Wine & Spirits of America to work with its national real estate consultant to help them find and verify a suitable distribution site within Onondaga County. The goal was to construct a 250,000 SF facility with the capability of being expanded to 450,000 SF.

VIP Structures provided site selection, design and construction services for the project. The facility was not only completed on time but was substantially under budget due to creative value engineering on the part of VIP’s architects and construction staff. This savings amounted to over $700,000. The facility includes complex and high-tech distribution equipment as well as sophisticated office and conference/training spaces. Since its founding in 1968, Southern Wine and Spirits of America, Inc. has become a nationally recognized wine and spirits distributor. They have operations in 29 states, including its original Florida market, where its corporate headquarters is located in Miami.
