GE Inspection Technologies (GEIT) was looking for a site that was in close proximity to the original Skaneateles Falls location of its predecessor company, Everest VIT. Several sites were considered in Skaneateles and nearby Auburn, New York. GEIT and their real estate representative turned to VIP Development Associates Inc. (VIPDA) to perform an analysis of these two New York sites. GEIT elected to go with the site located in Skaneateles Park North, an industrial park in Skaneateles Falls.

Once the site was chosen, VIP’s design-build-lease model was in full motion. While our development team was securing environmental and town approvals, our architects and construction professionals were collaborating to achieve project success. The project from acquisition to design and construction was completed in less than 18 months.
