VIP Structures Oversees Boyle Center Renovation Project

Syracuse, NY - In the company’s role as Construction Manager (CM), VIP Structures administered the $983,000 renovation project at the Edward T. Boyle Center in Auburn. Christopher Community, Inc. manages eight-story, 150-unit, senior housing facility and selected VIP Structures for the role of construction manager.
The most notable portions of the project included replacement of 474 windows and replacement of the roof. In addition, the perimeter sidewalk was replaced along with the exterior patio and patio stairs, and a new dumpster pad was added.
A new EPDM rubber roof system was installed. This system is known for its exceptional heat, ozone and weather resistance. Because of its durability and performance the fully-adhered EPDM system is preferred.
An energy saving feature of the windows selected for the renovation is the thermal barrier in the frame and sash that improves thermal performance enhancing energy saving potential.
